When one day isn't enough, we celebrate Earth Month plus!
Tempestry Project
Tempestry Project
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020, UC Davis Sustainability recruited volunteers to create a textile display of the last 50 years of climate change. Each temperature tapestry (“tempestry”) represents a year of daily high temperatures in Davis, CA, with January at the left and December at the right of the tempestry.
Please enjoy this virtual exhibit and check back in for any additions as well as details for a future in-person exhibit!
If you would like to crochet a missing year, email us at sustainability@ucdavis.edu to inquire about the options available.
