Tempestry Project
Tempestry Project
This Earth Day, April 22nd, 2020, marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
As part of the month-long celebrations and events around this day, the UC Davis Office of Sustainability recruited volunteers to create a textile display of the last 50 years of climate change. Each temperature tapestry (“tempestry”) represents a year of daily high temperatures in Davis, CA, with January at the left and December at the right of the tempestry.
Please enjoy this virtual exhibit and check back in for any additions as well as details for a future in-person exhibit!
