Eric strategizes, provides vision for, and manages sustainability policy requirements and sustainable systems planning for all UC Davis facilities and sustainability initiatives like Zero Waste. He develops and recommends standards, policies, and ideas to promote sustainability efforts in coordination with senior management; identifies desirable sustainability initiatives and assesses their cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and acceptance within the University community; and analyzes and reports the effectiveness and results of sustainability projects.  Learn more about Eric.

Carla leads programs that expand awareness of campus sustainability efforts and engage students, faculty, and staff in advancing the university’s sustainability goals. She develops “take action” initiatives, experiential learning opportunities, and outreach programs that help integrate sustainability into everyday campus life. She leads a student team that supports peer-to-peer engagement and serves as ambassadors for sustainability initiatives across campus. Carla also contributes to systemwide leadership within the University of California as co-chair of a working group developing engagement programs to improve the sustainability of research laboratories across UC campuses.

Carla holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz and brings a strong scientific foundation to advancing sustainability culture at UC Davis.

Kelli oversees campus sustainability reporting and analyzes results to inform future sustainability planning efforts. Some of these reports include the UC Office of the President Annual Report on Sustainable Practices and the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS). Kelli is involved with UC-wide sustainability planning and coordination efforts for performance reporting; transportation; foodservice; zero waste; and more.

Kelli also manages the Zero Waste Program reporting, policy and compliance efforts.

Heidi Rogers

Heidi Rogers' passion for sustainability began at CSU Chico as an undergrad where she earned a BS in Environmental Science. With a love for connecting people to nature, she was a raft guide for many years on the American River and an outdoor guide for teenagers. Heidi’s background includes research with the USGS studying the hydrology of high alpine meadows in the Sierra Nevadas, researching Hyena Behavior with Michigan State University, and working with NASA on satellite imagery projects using Google Earth Engine. She recently earned a Master’s in Statistical Science with an Emphasis in Bayesian Statistics and is excited to help students bring their sustainability ideas to life as the new Program Manager for UC Davis’s Green Initiative Fund. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys time with her fiancé, their dog and two cats, takes care of way too many indoor plants, and is passionate about gardening.
